The Shipping Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SATT) is pleased to be hosting its 88th Annual General Meeting in conjunction with its 1st Shipping & Logistics Conference at the Hyatt on;
Thursday 26th and Friday 27th March 2026.
This marque industry event aims to bring 200 plus, local, regional, and international decision-makers, to share knowledge and insights, receive pertinent industry content and strengthen stakeholder relationships.

What is the SATT?
The Shipping Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SATT), founded on April 29, 1938, as a Trade Union, initially negotiated with the Seamen and Waterfront Workers Trade Union (SWWTU). Evolving from the pre-WWII Steamers Warehouse Association, SATT expanded its role from a labour employer to a key consultative and advocacy body for the shipping industry, especially after government nationalization of stevedoring. Today, SATT acts as an advocacy, negotiator, and advisor, focusing on developing shipping expertise. Its objectives include promoting members’ interests, information dissemination, dispute resolution, and influencing legislation. SATT, structured with an Executive Council and Secretariat, has diverse members including shipping agents, ship managers, ship brokers, ports, dock, terminal operators, NVOCC’S, and freight forwarders. It holds representations on various local, regional, and international shipping committees and is a founding member of the Caribbean Shipping Association (CSA).
What to Expect from the Conference?

Several industry leaders and subject matter experts have been confirmed to lead discussions on pervading Shipping and Logistics issues. The topics, determined through membership feedback, will cover areas such as:

Macroeconomic Outlook, geopolitics and global trade forecasts and its impact on shipping activity.
Non-Liner Trades
Focus on sectors outside of container liners, such as LNG, oil tankers and commodity trade and shipping. This is intended to diversify content and attract non-liner agents/stakeholders.

Moving beyond soft HR skills to focus on hard capacity requirements for the future. Includes: Key skills for future leaders, leadership in turbulent times and promoting gender diversity. Addressing the need for technical, engineering and environmental (green port) skills.

Short Sea Shipping and Inter-Island Trade, focusing on expanding trade for local manufacturers and exporters.

Exclusive Sponsorship of Item, Activity or Event
We recognize that some sponsors may wish to support exclusively a specific item, activity, or event within the conference to benefit from exclusive branding of same. In this regard, we have itemized subjects available for exclusive sponsorship. The monetary value of the sponsorship will be placed in its corresponding sponsorship level and similar benefits will be given.
The exclusive sponsorship opportunities are as follows.
Conference Polos – TT$22,500
Sponsor will fund the acquisition and printing of branded conference polos for each participant. Estimated 250 polos.
The benefits to sponsor are as follows.
