
Nigel Woodsley is an experienced MBA (Sustainable Energy Management) professional with a strong passion for sharing his experience and knowledge with younger professionals.
Nigel possesses over Thirty-one years of professional experience, with more than 18 years intensive work experience in the planning development & management of the Downstream Ports & Terminals, Midstream Energy Services sector with specialisation in the management of Industrial Estates and associated Ports.
Initially a physical planner by profession he openly embraced the transition to maritime operations some 15 years ago.
Nigel has spent the past 12 yrs as part of the National Energy’s Management team, overseeing the Port Operations at Brighton Port, Port of Galeota and more recently Point Lisas Piers and Terminals.
As Manager Ports and Terminals Operations he has oversight for the three Ports & Terminals operated by National Energy, with a focus on commercial operations and recently driving the operationalisation framework of the sustainability initiatives under the Smart Port/Green Port Pilot project. Ensuring Sustainability and a just energy transition under the ESG philosophy, remain the key area of focus.
Nigel is an avid sports man, father of four and licenced grassroots football coach who believes in strongly mentoring the upcoming generations for a better future.
