Deoraj Mahase has had a long and distinguished career in the maritime, shipping, and logistics sector in Trinidad and Tobago. Over the past 28 years, he has worked at the Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Corporation (PLIPDECO). During his tenure, he has served in management and executive roles, including Manager of Planning and Vice President of Technical Services. He is currently in the position of President (Ag).
Throughout his career, Mr. Mahase has also served on several national committees related to the maritime and business sectors.
In addition, he has worked closely with the Couva Point Lisas Chamber of Commerce for over eight years. During this time, he has held multiple leadership roles, including Extended Executive Member, First Vice President, and currently serves as President of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Mahase holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Port and Maritime Management.
