
Sonji Pierre Chase is a Senior Partner of the law firm, JCS Caribbean Law, and has over 26 years of experience in property law, conveyancing, and commercial transactions.
She has advised major financial institutions on security documentation, commercial leases, and landlord-tenant matters. She also has extensive experience in international trade law, intellectual property law, probate practice, and estate planning as well as anti-trust law.
Previously, she served as Legal Officer at the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce and as a Legal Trade Specialist at the Ministry of Trade & Industry.
Sonji is also an Associate Tutor at Hugh Wooding Law School and has contributed to intellectual property law reform in Trinidad and Tobago serving as a member of a ministerial appointed committee.
